The MRS Barracuda R2 Pro is the perfect two-person adventure package, meeting even the most demanding professional’s wishes. This model, at about 3.6 meters, is the largest and unquestionably the fastest packraft in MRS’s fleet. Its bow and stern design make it highly streamlined, and the attachable fin adds more directional stability. The MRS Barracuda R2 Pro is very reliable in challenging conditions and is easily maneuvered in demanding rapids (note: we recommend removing the fin before rapids).

The entire package, including all accessories (fin, two skirts with attachment hoops, ISS dry bags), weighs 6 kg, but boasts an impressive load capacity of up to 330 kg. The Pro model features, as standard, a more durable/reinforced black material, spray skirts with a detachable Type-D deck, and the ISS system.

Inflating: A very handy accessory for every packraft owner is the Flextailgear Max Pump. Whether you inflate your packraft with this pump or a fill bag, the final touch should be done with strong breaths (through the one-way valve on top). To ensure the best user experience, the Barracuda R2 should be filled meticulously to prevent folding in the middle. Instead of blowing, final touches can also be conveniently done using the MRS foot pump.

Paddle recommendation: The MRS Barracuda R2 Pro has sufficient length for both paddlers to comfortably use kayak paddles, thus ensuring maximum speed and efficiency. Therefore, as companions to the Barracuda Pro, paddles such as the 220 cm long Aqua Bound Manta Rays are excellent for even the most demanding use.

The MRS Barracuda R2 Pro includes:

• Two spray skirts + pex frames, dry bags and TiZip lube for the ISS system
• 1 pc Packraft repair kit
• 1 pc inflation bag
• Hull & floor patching material (excluding glue)
• 1 pc detachable MRS skeg (height approx. 60 mm, with a pre-installed socket). The socket also fits a separately sold MRS skeg with a height of 130 mm.

The Flextailgear Max Pump is also a very convenient accessory for every packraft owner.

If your packraft happens to need repairs on one of your adventures, we recommend to carry the included packraft repair kit. We recommend the Helaplast glue for installing the hull & floor patch materials included with the packraft.

Note: Your packraft comes with factory-printed Melomo logos. The logos are on both sides of the bow, sized approximately 100 mm x 70 mm.
